Soothing Bath Oil

This wonderful bath oil was specially developed to help mother and baby relax together. It contains potent natural oils such as jojoba and apricot kernel to soothe and hydrate dry skin. It also contains natural ingredients to help the oils mix into the bath water. There is nothing better than sharing a relaxing bath with your baby.

Packaging

The packaging is made of 100% recycled plastic. The boxes are made from agricultural waste (leaves and stems left behind after harvest). It replaces the amount of fibres from trees. When rice, wheat, barley, cereals, corn, hemp, and sugar cane are processed, 80% of the plant – its stems and leaves (agricultural waste) – is left unused. Currently, most of this is burned. Paperwise environmental impact is 47% lower than paper made from trees and 29% lower than recycled paper.

Our scents

Our special Kenkô fragrances are made by us in the Netherlands. We work strictly with 100% natural oils of traceable origin.

We used two closely related scents with a distinct olfactory connection. We used one scent in our baby products and another in our products for mothers and mothers-to-be. When used together, both fragrances tell a story about the intimate and tender connection between mother and child; about the gentleness, the warmth, and the joy that the arrival of a new baby brings and the special rituals and routines a mother develops with her child. The fragranced oils are subtle and harmonious and designed to support the tender bond between mother and child.

The fragrance notes were selected for the emotions, associations, and moods they evoke, as well as their effect on the body and mind. For example, vanilla bourbon was chosen for the feeling of security, warmth, and cosiness it evokes. Natural sandalwood was chosen for its warm, enveloping scent, its relaxing and nourishing properties, and its important role in spiritual traditions. Both perfumed oils are warm, soft, and relaxing. For mothers, the scent helps to both relax and energize.

*Natural Hypoallergenic Kenko Fragrance (Vanilla) added at very low concentration to minimize the chance of allergic reactions.

Incorporating a fragrance was a deliberate choice, as we feel it contributes to the overall experience. Our products contain very low doses to prevent any skin reactions.
