Second trimester · weeks 14–27
Make the nest
Energy usually returns now, which makes it the perfect time to prepare a calm, beautiful corner for the two of you.
- Start with one cosy corner, not a whole nursery.
- Choose natural, breathable fabrics for everything that touches baby.
- Invest in pieces that grow with them, from newborn to toddler.

Third trimester · weeks 28–40
Pack the hospital bag
Have it ready by week 36. Pack light and soft: baby's first outfits are as much for you as for them.
- Three onesies, in newborn and 0–3 month sizes.
- Mittens and a soft hat for the very first days.
- One small, lovely thing that makes it feel like home.

The fourth trimester · 0–3 months
Keep them close
Newborns want what they had inside: warmth, closeness and your heartbeat. Slow down and let the days be soft.
- Pick a carrier that fits from birth and adjusts as they grow.
- Skin-to-skin calms you both, so carry them close often.
- Keep a few soft layers within reach for easy changes.

From the first weeks
Bath rituals
Bath time can become the calmest moment of the day: warm water, soft light and your hands. Keep it slow, simple and gentle on new skin.
- Two or three baths a week is plenty for a newborn.
- Warm the room and the towel before you begin.
- Choose gentle, natural care that is kind to you both.

Months 3–12
Play, grow, remember
Baby starts reaching, grasping and discovering the world. Simple, sensory toys are all they need, plus a place to keep the memories.
- Soft textures and gentle sounds over flashing lights.
- Rotate a few toys rather than offering them all at once.
- Write things down. You'll be glad you did.
